Overview
Solution Architect with 6+ years of experience, skilled in DDD, microservices, event-driven architectures, ArchiMate, TOGAF, ATAM, and CBAM. Fluent in English and German, with an Agile mindset and the ability to work autonomously.
Job Responsibilities
- Adopt and analyse constraints, non-functional requirements, and functional requirements.
- Conduct appropriate decomposition within the specifics of the business capability, resulting in relevant Solution Building Blocks using recommended architectural styles and patterns (based on reference architectures).
- Serve as the key link aligning all relevant stakeholders in the Product Organisation, the Architecture team, and the delivery team.
- Be part of the delivery team, ensuring solution delivery in accordance with the design.
- Deliver architecture designs in accordance with the company’s architecture vision, standards, and guidelines.
- Provide designs based on your experience in integration design, application architecture, and available tools.
- In the design lifecycle, follow the governance structures (Design Boards) for gating and decision-making (using techniques such as ADR and ATAM).
Must Have Skills
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in Solution Architecture.
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative, engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experienced in applying IT standards such as ArchiMate, TOGAF, ATAM, and CBAM.
- Strong team player, open to feedback from peers.
- Familiarity with architecture modeling languages such as ArchiMate.
- Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and modern architectures (microservices, event-driven) with practical application experience.
- Eager to learn, share knowledge, embrace change, and learn from experience.
- Skilled at using a whiteboard to facilitate discussions.
- Agile mindset.
- Fluency in English and German is mandatory.
Nice to have
- Fluency in French and/or Dutch.
- Experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect is a plus.
- Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Result-oriented, structured, and organised.
