Overview
Seasoned OPICS Functional Analyst with over 10 years of experience and deep functional knowledge of OPICS and treasury products. Expert in batch processing, STP, and reconciliation, with strong familiarity with interfaces and downstream systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage front-to-back OPICS processing for FX, Money Market, Fixed Income, and IR Swaps, ensuring STP and timely settlements.
- Monitor and troubleshoot batch operations (OSYS-BSYS overnight batches), reconcile outputs, and validate logs (e.g., Splunk, OPICSLOG).
- Oversee data feeds (rates, deals, prices) to downstream systems and maintain integrity across OPICS interfaces.
- Support OPICS upgrades, patches, regression testing, and documentation.
- Ensure regulatory compliance (EMIR, MiFID, SFTR) via OPICS, liaising with compliance and IT teams.
- Provide robust support for the company’s treasury operations and system evolution initiatives.
- Collaborate with FOMOBO, vendors, and platform squads, providing clear communication on incidents and resolutions.
Must Have Skills
- Over 10 years of experience.
- Deep functional knowledge of OPICS and treasury products.
- Expertise in batch processing, STP, and reconciliation.
- Familiarity with interfaces and downstream systems.
- Strong understanding of regulatory reporting (EMIR, MiFID, SFTR, SWIFT MTMX, ISO 20022).
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to have
- Education/Certifications: Degree in Finance, Business, or IT.
- Experience in writing online content.
- Experience with EagleEYE, Splunk, and OPICSLOG monitoring.
- Knowledge of testing tools, Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow workflows.
- SQL proficiency for interface tables and data validation (e.g., repoSFTR customisations).
