Overview
We are seeking a Solution Architect to support digital transformation in a large, agile environment. The role involves designing and guiding end-to-end solution architectures, working closely with agile teams, and aligning business needs with scalable, secure solutions. The architect bridges legacy and modern systems, ensures compliance, and acts as a liaison between business and IT.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate daily with agile teams to ensure that delivered solutions meet business requirements and adhere to architectural standards.
- Design, document, and communicate solution architectures across the full development lifecycle.
- Provide guidance and technical oversight to ensure solutions are high-quality, scalable, and maintainable.
- Design architectures and frameworks to support business and technical objectives.
- Document and address the organization’s data structures, solution architectures, and system requirements throughout the full lifecycle.
- Create ArchiMate models and designs to represent architectures clearly.
- Experience with mobile apps and websites.
Must Have Skills
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education and experience.
- At least 5 years of multi-disciplined IT experience (development, analysis, etc.).

TOGAF certification.
- Minimum 4 years of Solution Architecture responsibilities in a large, sophisticated organization with a high-volume, high-transaction environment.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms.
- Broad, proven business knowledge.
- Previous experience with organizations that use mainframes (in-depth mainframe knowledge not required, but awareness of the ins and outs).
- Strong knowledge of GDPR.
- Ability to guide remote solution architects and act as the SPOC for the local chief architect.
- Ability to serve as a liaison between business, management, IT, and other stakeholders.
- Able to identify and prioritize critical business functions in collaboration with organizational stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Ability to manage teleworking while maintaining contact with identified stakeholders.
- Fluent proficiency in English, with good command of Dutch and French.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of PSD2, private loan and leasing business, card payments, CRM, and accounting.
- Experience with advanced technologies such as machine learning, data mining, text mining, deep learning, and natural language processing.
- Team player.
- Quick self-starter with a proactive attitude.
- Good communication and influencing skills.
