Overview

The Sales and Marketing Associate will drive sales and marketing activities for yechte in the Indian market, focusing on lead generation, client relations, and business growth. Key responsibilities include developing sales strategies, negotiating contracts, and managing the full sales cycle. The ideal candidate will have experience in business development, digital sales, and CRM management in both B2B and B2C settings.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct cold outreach campaigns on platforms like LinkedIn and Email to generate new sales leads.
  • Analyze sales data, trends, and forecasts to develop accurate demand plans. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to adjust sales strategies based on evolving demand.
  • Propose our products to the potential clients, ensuring alignment with our online store requirements and demand forecasts. This requires alignment at a hyperlocal level with brands which is a first in an ecommerce set up.
  • Negotiating contracts, proposing quotations and ensuring pricing efficiency, quality, and delivery standards. Closing deals on schedule.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high satisfaction and repeated business.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM systems.
  • Create and present detailed sales performance reports to management.
  • Conduct research on rival products and industry trends to keep the company competitive.
  • Design and implement marketing plans for company products, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Understand and manage the full sales cycle and marketing funnel, ensuring leads are nurtured through to conversion.

Must Have Skills

  • MBA or Graduate in Marketing.
  • 1-3 years in business development, sales, or a similar role in B2B and B2C environments.
  • Digitally savvy, with an understanding of technical sales for websites and apps, ERPs, plugins, widgets etc.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, in both English and Hindi.
  • Excellent written skills, with the ability to create SEO-friendly content at ease using modern digital tools.

Nice to have

  • Ability to prepare and maintain a sales funnel in a CRM, and report to adjacent teams.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing trends.
  • Driven to meet ambitious monthly sales targets, with a passion for technology and working in international environments.
